Thyroid seen in an example of lymphocytic thyroiditis or Hashimoto's
disease showing intense lymphocytic infiltration with germ center formation
and severe atrophy of the thyroid functional stroma. Observe the multiple blue dots produced by the development of germ
centers of lymphoid cells and substitution of the normal thyroid stroma.
This is an excellent example of lymphocytic infiltration.
